In order for you to understand our rules and regulations, you must first be aware that the fish,
What ever species, Always come first – as do wildlife and surroundings.
The fish contained in our lakes give pleasure to you, the angler, and we see no reason why
Their existence should be threatened or why harm should come to them in any way. The following are strict rules and checks will be made during your holiday to make sure they are carried out to the letter. We make no apologies, as any reasonable angler will understand.
1. Swims available from 10 am on arrival, to be vacated by 10 am on day of departure.
2. 3-Rod Limit Only. No Rods to be left unattended.
3. Large Unhooking mats Compulsory.
4. Unhooking mats must be at least 4 feet long and 2 feet wide with at least 2” of cushion.
5. No sacking of fish .
6. Fish are to be returned to the waster a.s.a.p.
7. Semi-Fixed safety or running leads, and barbless hooks only. Lines will be randomly checked.
8. Minimum of 15lb mainline to be used, braided lines are allowed, provided it is used in conjunction with a minimum of three feet of leadcore or protective tubing.
9. Minimum size landing net must be 42” and knotless.
10. Never leave litter, inc, line, hooks, bottles, or cigarette butts. Use bins provided.
11. No nuts of any kind including tiger nuts, peanuts etc.
12. Bait boats are allowed as long as they do not interfere with other anglers.
13. No Fires.
We believe these rules to be firm but fair to every angler that visits TMW LAKES and we advocate common sense in every angling situation.
We reserve the right to ask any angler in breach of the above rules to pack up and vacate the fishery with no refund of monies that have previously been paid.
